What's New On The SILVER SPLENDOR?

The car has now successfully run 6 or 7 trips to various parts of California. Our First out-of-state trip is coming up in a few months. Our newest public trip is called Luncheon By The Sea. This trip, which runs every second Sunday of the month, serves a 4 course meal enroute to San Diego from Los Angeles. The first one went off without a hitch while we sent 20 guests home full and happy. For more on the trip CLICK HERE.

In other news, Rudy Morgenfruh, our faithful electrician, is finishing work on our diesel generator which will provide power to the car when we are away from ground power or the train set. We hope to fire it off for the first time in the next month or so.
